Similkameen Twighlight

I have always been drawn to landscapes. Like my other painting series, I am seeking a spiritual answer in nature. Landscape painting is like going to church. The paintings possess no focal point and lead the eye around the canvas without a stoppage.

They are elemental and not realistic in a visual sense. They are an emotional and spiritual response to the vast natural wonders around us. They are elemental and not realistic in a visual sense. The earth is alive and ever changing, I try to express that life in my paintings. These landscapes are elemental and raw.
